Trent Reznor recently played a phenomenal collaborated performance at the Grammys with Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl and Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac representing Sound City, the documentary. His band Nine Inch Nails and the Sound City soundtrack were nominees for the 56th Grammys.
Nine Inch Nails leaves for an Australian tour with Queens of the Stone Age later this month. Trent confirms that the band is booked right until the end of summer. In an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, Trent mentioned that the band would be working on new material whilst on tour throughout spring-summer and would try to put out new material in the fall. Trent also confirmed his work in David Finch’s new movie to be released later in October. It is believed that he will be collaborating with Atticus Ross, with whom he worked previously on the soundtracks of The Social Network and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo for which he was nominated and won many awards.
This is great news for all Nine Inch Nails fans and it’s safe to say that we shall be hearing a lot of Trent this year.
